Case Highlights: Proven Performance in the Suez Corridor

Our work in Egypt speaks for itself. TURBOMED SUEZ has supported numerous vessels with time-critical turbocharger interventions, often under challenging operational conditions.
Here are a few examples:
✅ Emergency Balancing Onboard – Container Vessel, Suez Canal Transit
During a southbound transit through the canal, a major container ship reported heavy vibrations on a D/G unit. Our team boarded at Port Said, carried out onsite dynamic balancing of the rotor, and completed the intervention before reaching Suez — with zero delays to the vessel's schedule.
✅ M/E Turbocharger Overhaul – Bulk Carrier at Suez Anchorage
While awaiting canal clearance, a bulk carrier requested full overhaul of a main engine turbocharger (MAN TCA66). Our engineers boarded directly at anchorage, disassembled the unit, replaced damaged nozzle rings, cleaned the rotor, and completed reassembly and balancing within 18 hours.
✅ M/E Turbocharger Overhaul – Tanker vessel on the dry dock of port said shipyard.
Our team successfully performed a complete turbocharger overhaul including dynamic balancing onboard for a main engine (MAN TCCA 77) for a vessel at the Port Said drydock, ensuring reliable performance, compliance with the manufacturer’s standards, saving time, and reducing costs.
✅ Full D/G Overhaul While Sailing – Car Carrier, Port Said to Suez
Our technicians performed a complete overhaul of a D/G turbocharger (ABB VTR) while the vessel was underway. This included inspection, parts replacement, cleaning, and rebalancing — all without affecting the vessel’s operation.
These cases reflect our core value: Delivering technical excellence without compromising your operational schedule.
